- verbeterde foto- en videocamera. iPhone 4 heeft een 5-megapixelcamera met auto-focuslens en LED-flits. Er is nu ook video in HD (maximale resolutie van 720p / 30 frames per seconde). Apple komt ook met iMovie voor de iPhone uit, waarmee je de opgenomen filmpjes meteen op de iPhone kunt bewerken.
- iPhone OS 4 is wordt iOS 4 en heeft meer dan 100 nieuwe functies, zoals multitasking en folders. IBooks komt ook beschikbaar voor de iPhone en iPod Touch, waarbij je alle content kunt synchroniseren met alle devices: iPhone, iPod Touch en iPad.
